So I got contacted by Olivia asking me If will like to try this mask ,as you all know I am very keen on skincare  and I am open to try skincare products that are beneficial to my skin ,when she told me this mask had shea butter in it this blew me away and I was eager to try .
This Mask is specifically to keep your skin feeling moisturised and also getting rid of any dead cells in your pores or your skin ,it comes with a magnetic holder which helps in pulling away and impurities from your skin .


First Thoughts

This is hands down the coolest beauty experiment I’ve done in a while. It was actually fun… I was laughing and giggling throughout the entire experience. More fun than clay masks, sheet masks, or any skincare experiments I’ve done in a while .





I was seriously laughing like a little kid the whole time. I was so excited to use this mask. It smelled good, felt good, and I only needed to apply a little bit to cover my face! Awesome. The jar was kind of small, which was a downer, but again – since I only needed a little, I figured that this jar could last a good 9-10 times if not more.

One of my favorite things about this mask was that you only need to leave it on for 5-10 minutes.

As much as I like the idea of a DIY-at-home face mask, it’s not like the spa. I forget it’s there and end up touching it after 10 minutes, then I get gunk everywhere. So the idea of a quickie mask sounded great to me.

Ingredients 

Dead Sea Mud, Iron Powder, Pearl Powder, Jojoba Oil, Bees Wax, Vitamin C, Collagen, Shea Butter, Propylene Glycol, Cocoa Seed Extract, Vitamin E and a whole lot more.

 The packaging from Amour Noir is absolutely gorgeous, real quality. You can see the attention to detail on their products. The writing is easy to read, and the directions even easier to follow.

The Application

Before I use this mask, I cleanse my face first to make sure that all of my make up is removed. Once I have done this, I make my skin slightly damp and then apply this face mask all over avoiding the eye and mouth area.

The texture is very smooth and glides quiet easily on the face ,no strong perfume scent from the product ,and after after 5-10 times you can take it off .





Taken the Mask off 

This was the fun part of using this mask ,so you take a piece of tissue ,wrap around the magnetic stick which comes inside the box ,guys should I call this science ?i guess so because this literally takes off all the mask on your face just by using the tissues which is warp around the magnetic holder ,this pull off all the mask on your face without even tourching  your skin or getting in contact with your skin directly .

can we just talk about how effective and effortless this is ,I was shock as I was using this and it leaves behind some very rich oil and vitamin on the face which are all listed above ,and I massage the vitamins into my skin as per instructions ,and this is very silky and Look glowing which I liked

5 Ways To Stop Feeling Fat

I am convinced feeling fat is the number one thing which triggers self pity and also one of the biggest obstacles standing between women and getting things you want in life . 

So here are my top five tips for getting over it …your life awaits



1. Get Dressed

Seriously you will feel better if you get dressed ,many of us start feeling down because we have decided to wear stretchy pants and oversized sweatshirts thinking we would feel more better and hide fat .by so doing ,you are letting your feelings determine your actions, rather than the other way around ,which is best thing to do  .  Before you let your "fat feelings" ruin your good time, I challenge you to shave your legs, put on some decent clothes, and swipe on some mascara. Get dolled up, and remember, you’re kind of a bombshell. Bonus points for getting out of your apartment and showing off your bad self

2Ask yourself what you're “feeling fat” over.

Sometimes we place actual feelings (like fear or disappointment) on our bodies because they're easier to deal with that way. One way to banish the “fat feelings” for good is to uncover what they really mean. Are you feeling insecure in your relationship? Are you struggling with a major life decision? Self-doubt shows up as “fat feelings” all the time.

I personally have an insecurity over my belle, over having a C-section I have now embarrassed my new belle structure and work had to reduce this and be comfortable in it 


3.Make Sure You Really Need to Lose Weight

Sometimes you feel fat when you really aren’t even overweight. This can be from overeating, medications, or even a false sense of how you really look. I’ve had friends and clients who were convinced they were overweight but medically speaking they weren’t. They wanted to lose weight to feel better about themselves, but strictly speaking they didn’t really need to lose any weight at all.

4.Write Down Your Good Qualities

Part of the reason you feel fat is because you are focusing on perceived negative qualities. It’s okay to acknowledge that you are overweight, but you shouldn’t call yourself names. Try this simple exercise to start thinking about yourself in a better light. Write down at least two positive physical and non-physical qualities about yourself. Here are some examples if you’re having trouble.

Physical:

·         What is one physical feature you like about yourself?

·         Name five physical abilities you have. (Hint: Being able to run, walk, ride a bike, work out, hold down a physically demanding job, etc.)

Non-Physical:

·         What are some qualities people compliment you on? (Hint: Kindness, sense of humour, honesty, ability to hold an engaging conversation, making people feel at home, etc.)

·         Write down your talents and abilities. And yes, everyone has them. (Hint: Work competency, education accomplishments, creative endeavours, etc.)

Once you have a short list, commit to adding to it on a weekly basis.

5.Do and Say Something Nice to Yourself Every Day

Feeling fat sometimes translates into not being kind to yourself. Make sure to say and do something nice for yourself every single day. Stop calling yourself ugly names and say nice things about yourself, even if you don’t mean it at first. Keep at it until you start to believe and internalize those positive messages

Skincare and Makeup Habits You Need to Quit Immediately

You always have the best of intentions with skincare routine. Each day, you drink water, you cleanse, and you prime. You are doing a lot of things very, very right. Unfortunately, even with a dozen great habits you put in, there are some really terrible ones sticking around for the ride.

Using gritty exfoliators... or not exfoliating at all

Exfoliating your skin is critical for a healthy, glowing complexion. As you get older, your skin cell turnover starts to slow way down, leaving dead skin cells sitting on the surface of your skin. That not only leaves your skin dry, dull and wrinkled-looking, but also prevents the absorption of any of the products you use to moisturize your skin.

Giving your skin a good scrub to slough off those dead skin cells will leave you with a more vibrant complexion, almost immediately. Avoid gritty scrubs that contain rough exfoliators and harsh peels to avoid irritation and inflammation, and opt for gentle ones. Exfoliate no more than a couple of times a week, but only once a week if you have sensitive skin.



Forgetting your neck and chest:The skin on your neck and chest is just as important as your face, and equally as delicate. “Any product you use on your face should also be used on your neck and chest!”

Sleeping in makeup:No matter how tired we are after a long day at work or going out with friends, it is really important to take the time to care for your skin at night. If you have an acne/ oily skin, it is imperative to wash away all that excess oil that your skin produced during the day – not to mention all the makeup that was applied and worn during the day which can lead to clogged pores. You also want to wash away all of the pollutants that skin is exposed to during the day – this is especially important to maintaining youthful skin.
Popping your Pimples 
It’s so tempting to dig right in when you see a big juicy whitehead emerge on your flawless face ,but you should know it does more harm than good ,the two most common things that will follow will be scaring and infection ,this will then leave your face filled with acne 
Forgetting to Wash Makeup Brushes 
Dirty brushes become more abrasive and dry as they become more caked with product and debris from your face. ... Cleaning your brushes regularly keeps them soft enough to not cause damage to your face. Avoid germs. Dirty makeup brushes are also a breeding ground for bacteria.

Using your Hand or Wrist to match your Foundation 

I know, everyone does. When I was not into Beauty and needed a new foundation I will match it on my hands  And that’s so wrong, because your skin isn’t the same colour all over. So, if you match it on your wrist, you can end up with a shade that’s too light or dark for your face and makes you look like a mask
By the way, matching your foundation to your jawline isn’t much better. It works, if you like to wear turtleneck tops (or is that just me?). But, what if you wear something low cut? According to makeup Gurus like Jackie Amina it’s Much better to test foundation on your chest. That way, you can wear it with any kind of clothes and be sure your skin will be the same colour all 

Overcleansing

Making sure you cleanse your skin correctly is an important step for maintaining glowing skin. The key is to remove impurities that can clog your pores without overcleansing. which strips away your skin's natural protective oils. While the evening cleanse is crucial to removing dirt, oil, makeup and environmental pollutants, it isn't always necessary to cleanse again in the morning. The oils that your skin produces while you're sleeping are hydrating and balancing, so you don't want to wash them away.

To avoid overcleansing your skin, gently wash your face with a good cleanser and lukewarm water at night, and rinse with just lukewarm water when you wake up to retain more of your own moisturizing oils.
